This one has solid Sitka Spruce top that is made of a solid piece of wood, in other words, it is not plywood. The guitar sounds great plugged in because of the LR Baggs TCV  pickup system on the guitar. You plug right into the end pin or strapbutton jack and there is an onboard tuner as well. You have one of the clearest cleanest acoustic reproduction sounds ever. It is also super impressive when just playing it acoutically with no amplification at all. The Guitar has a huge crystal clear dreadnought sound with a great low end and clear highs acoustically and is not effected acoustically by the system that is installed. Even though it has a huge Dreadnought sound which works great for all kinds of music, the action on the guitar also makes it fun to use as a fingerpicking guitar. The buyer pays $49 for regular ground shipping for the guitar inside continental US only, which includes sturdy packing for the guitar and guitar hard shell case fully insured delivery to your door in the continental US. The Breedlove High End guitars are very expensive fine hand made musical instruments and we do not take lightly the handling of these instruments. We do not get in a hurry when setting up, inspecting or packing these guitars. For this reason please allow at least 10 days to two weeks to receive this guitar. If you need it for your gig next Friday night , this is probably not your best choice. Tragically we have seen some awesome pieces destroyed when shippers get in a hurry. Plus, if the guitar has to be returned because of set up problems, it is exposed to twice the chance of destruction in shipping. I bought this guitar as a backup to my Taylor 914ce when playing on stage. However, in the last 6 months I have only played it six times! So instead of it lying around begging to be played I figured I would sell it and let it find a happy home. Basically brand new. No scratches or dings on it at all, looks like it did the day I bought it. For real...bid well, it will go quickly!

Our guitars are not pre-owned. They have never been sold to a consumer.

We hand select all guitars that we offer for sale from the refurbisher’s inventory of over 3000 guitars. We also test each guitar to ensure that all of the components work properly. As we offer each guitar for sale, we include information on any visible repairs and provide photos.
The refurbisher that we work with purchases guitars directly from the manufacturer. These guitars did not pass the manufacturers quality control or they were returned to the manufacturer from music stores unsold for one reason or other. Generally these guitars have minor finish imperfections, minor damage that occurred during manufacture, or minor issues with electronics or hardware. Music store returns may sometimes have been used as demos and may have light pick scratches or may have been overstocks of discontinued models.

The refurbisher uses a six step inspection process as part of their restoration process to ensure all issues are identified and corrected. We then inspect and test the electronics on all of our inventory before offering them for sale. Through this process we know that the guitars we offer have been MORE thoroughly inspected than their “new” counterparts. Our reputation is on the line with every guitar we sell and want to be sure that we offer only the best guitars.
So, what is the deal with the “used” stamp if these guitars are not “pre-owned”?

During the restoration process the guitar is stamped “used” in small letters on the back of the headstock. At the same time, the original serial number was removed and replaced with a serial number assigned by the refurbisher. This is done to prevent warranty claims as these guitars are offered without warranty. _________________________________________________________________________________

Here's your protection: You can return any guitar in the original condition within 3 business days of receiving it for any reason for a full refund. This is a beautiful Breedlove guitar and is in almost new condition. It has a few surface marks but nothing deep in the finish. It has one small scratch on the headstock that I have included a photo of. This guitar was bought new by myself, and was hardly ever played. The guitar sounds great but I am more of a Om style player. It will include the padded zip up case, which it has been in most it's life.This guitar has been in a humidity controlled and smoke free home it's entire life. This guitar will come with a new set of martin strings and will set up and packed at a local certified guitar shop.It's just icing on the cake as it plays great already. Thanks for looking.
